⚠️ IMPORTANT: This app is run by ONE PERSON with NO moderation team. The community must self-moderate using the ban/report features. The developer CANNOT monitor or control user behavior and assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for user conduct.
Welcome to Ping & Wink! These are aspirational guidelines for the community. However, enforcement is limited to automated systems and user reports.
✨ Core Principles
- Self-Responsibility: You are responsible for your safety
- Community Moderation: Users must police themselves
- Temporary Nature: Everything expires (vibes in 3 hours, chats in 16 minutes)
- Zero Tolerance: Use the ban button liberally

- Ban anyone who makes you uncomfortable immediately
- Report serious violations
- Leave chats that feel wrong
- Trust your instincts
DO: Be Respectful
- Treat others kindly
- Respect boundaries
- Keep conversations appropriate
- Remember there's a real person behind each vibe
❌ Prohibited Behavior
NOTE: While these behaviors are prohibited, the developer CANNOT enforce these rules. Users must protect themselves using the ban feature.
DON'T: Engage in Harmful Behavior
- Harassment, threats, or stalking
- Sexual or inappropriate content
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Sharing personal information
- Illegal activities
- Spam or commercial use
If someone violates these → BAN THEM IMMEDIATELY
⚖️ Moderation System
How It Actually Works
Reality Check:
- NO human moderation team exists
- Reports may NEVER be reviewed
- Bans are automatic (20 minutes minimum)
- Multiple reports trigger longer auto-bans
- Appeals to pingandwink@gmail.com may not get responses

⚠️ Auto-Ban Warning: If you ban too many users too quickly, the system will automatically restrict YOU to prevent abuse.

Your Safety = Your Responsibility
- NEVER share: Name, phone, address, social media
- NEVER meet: Anyone from the app in real life
- ALWAYS ban: Anyone suspicious or inappropriate
- ALWAYS leave: Uncomfortable situations immediately
🚨 Reporting System
How to Report
- Tap menu (⋮) in chat
- Select "Report"
- Choose reason
- Submit (goes into automated queue)
Reality: Reports go to an automated system. There's no guarantee of human review or action. The ban button is your primary defense.
⚠️ Special Warnings
For Minors (Under 18)
- This app has NO age verification
- Adults may pretend to be teens
- The developer CANNOT protect you
- Tell parents/guardians you're using this app
- NEVER share personal info or meet anyone
For Parents
- This app is NOT moderated
- Your child interacts with strangers
- No age verification exists
- Monitor your child's usage
- Consider blocking the app
💡 Best Practices
Survival Tips
- Ban first, ask questions later
- Never give second chances
- Leave chats at first red flag
- Don't engage with trolls
- Report serious violations (even if no action guaranteed)
🔴 Emergency Situations
IMPORTANT: The developer CANNOT help in emergencies!
- Real danger: Call local emergency services (112 in EU)
- Threats: Contact local police
- Harassment: Use ban button and contact authorities if serious
